Before You Submit a Floor Repair Request

To assess whether your floor can be repaired, please complete the form below and upload clear photos of the damaged area.

Include a close-up photo, a wider photo showing the surrounding floor, the approximate size of the affected area, the type of flooring if known, the possible cause of the damage, and whether you have any spare boards or offcuts.

Our team will review the information first. If the repair is within our service scope, we will contact you to discuss an inspection, repair options or quotation. Incomplete requests or a single close-up photo may not provide enough information for assessment.

Start Repair Assessment →
Can every damaged timber floor be repaired?
Not every damaged floor can be repaired locally. The repair method depends on the flooring type, extent of damage, subfloor condition, moisture level and availability of matching boards. Submit clear photos so our team can assess whether a practical repair is possible.
Can individual damaged floorboards be replaced?
In many cases, individual solid timber, engineered oak, parquetry or hybrid boards can be removed and replaced without replacing the entire floor. Access, installation method, board locking system and availability of matching material must be checked first.
Will replacement boards match my existing floor?
An exact match cannot always be guaranteed. Existing flooring may have changed colour due to age, sunlight, wear or previous coatings. We will aim for the closest practical match using available boards, sanding, staining or coating where suitable.
Can water-damaged flooring be repaired?
Water-damaged flooring may be repairable after the moisture source has been identified and resolved. Lifted, swollen, stained or delaminated boards may require replacement. The surrounding floor and subfloor condition should also be checked before repair work begins.
Can you repair the floor if I do not have spare boards?
Possibly. We may be able to source a similar product, use boards from a concealed area or recommend another repair method. However, differences in board size, profile, timber grade, colour and finish may limit the achievable match.
Can scratches and surface damage be repaired locally?
Some scratches, coating damage and small worn areas may be improved with localised sanding, colour adjustment and recoating. The final result depends on the floor type, coating system, depth of damage and age of the surrounding finish.
How much does timber floor repair cost?
Repair costs depend on the flooring type, damaged area, access, required materials, board availability, subfloor condition and whether sanding or coating is required. Minimum service charges may apply to small repair jobs. We assess the submitted information before recommending the next step.
Why do I need to submit photos before you contact me?
Clear photos help us identify the flooring type, extent of damage, board direction, surrounding condition and likely repair options. This allows us to confirm whether the request is within our service scope before arranging an inspection or discussing a quotation.
